Important information regarding VitaFusion™ Fiber Well Gummies
If you recently ordered VitaFusion Fiber Well Gummies using the Health & Wellness benefit through your Humana Medicare plan, we wanted to let you know the manufacturer has recalled select lot codes of the product.
Two consumer reports identified the possible presence of a metallic mesh material in the product. The manufacturer is not aware of any reports of illness or injury to patients due to this recall. This recall is being conducted with the knowledge and approval of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
List of affected items
The recalled lot codes are listed below. To determine if your bottle is impacted, please check the Lot Code on your bottle. The Lot Code is located to the right of the bar code at the bottom of the bottle.
Recalled Lot Codes:
- WA02187020 EXP 08/22
- WA03086671 EXP 11/22
- WA03087521 EXP 11/22
If your bottle’s Lot Code does NOT match the three Lot Codes above, the bottle is not impacted by this recall and you can keep the product for continued use. If your bottle’s Lot Code does match any of the three Lot Codes above, your bottle is impacted by this recall and you should stop using the product immediately.
How to get a refund
To obtain a refund for the recalled product, please contact the manufacturer directly by calling Church & Dwight’s Consumer Affairs team at 800-981-4710, Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Eastern time. Do not throw away your bottle before calling Church & Dwight’s Consumer Affairs team. The cost per bottle was $16.00.
