Important recall: Donepezil Orally Disintegrating Tablets(ODT), Ondansetron ODT, or Risperidone ODT

If you’ve recently filled Donepezil Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT), Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT), or Risperidone Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT) with Humana Pharmacy, we wanted to let you know that the manufacturer, Sandoz Inc., has issued a recall of select National Drug Code (NDC) numbers of the medicine. Sandoz Inc. has determined that blister packs of these NDC numbers are not child-resistant, posing a risk of harm if the tablets are swallowed by children. There are no quality or safety issues with the medicine itself for its intended use. Humana Pharmacy no longer dispenses the affected NDC numbers.

If you have Donepezil Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT), Ondansetron Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT), or Risperidone Orally Disintegrating Tablets (ODT) with an NDC number listed below, immediately secure this medicine so that it is out of sight and reach of children and continue taking your medicine as prescribed. Please contact Sandoz, Inc. at 888-NOW-NOVA (888-669-6682) or refer to the posters included in this post for information on corrective action or with any questions.
