Transfer prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy before your plan starts
Did you know there are 2 ways you can transfer your prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy® before your Humana plan starts?
Transferring your prescriptions to Humana Pharmacy that have a 90-day supply could save you time and a trip to the store. It could even help you save money, too!
Sign in to transfer your prescriptions
Step 1: Sign in to your Humana Pharmacy account.
Step 2: Select “Fill new Rx” under “the My Rx” drop-down located in the main navigation bar.
Step 3: Enter your prescription information including the dosage, the amount you take and your prescriber’s name and select "Continue request" when you're done. If you don’t see your prescriber’s name, you can add it by selecting “Add a new prescriber.”
Step 4: Next, you may see information about available lower-cost generic or alternative options for your prescription.
Step 5: Finally, we’ll ask you to double-check your shipping, payment and prescription information. When you’re ready, select “Place order” and we’ll reach out to your prescriber to approve your prescription.
Once your new Humana plan starts, your orders will process and you’ll receive your medicines within 7–10 days. In the meantime, you can check the status of your order by going to the “My Orders” page.
Or, you can transfer your prescriptions in a snap in the mobile app
Use the Humana Pharmacy mobile app to take photos of your pill bottle and get an easy head start on transferring your prescriptions.
Step 1: Open the app and sign in, then select “Transfer a prescription” on the “My dashboard” screen. If you’re not ready to sign in, you can also select “Transfer Rx as guest” on the sign-in screen.
Step 2: Fill in your personal information, including your contact information and shipping address.
Step 3: Select the plus signs to take up to 4 photos of your prescription label or pill bottle. Please make sure all the details of your prescription are clearly visible. Then, add your prescriber’s name and phone number.
Step 4: Select “Submit” and we’ll take it from there! Repeat these simple steps for each prescription you’d like to transfer.
Your order will process once your plan starts and you’ll receive your prescriptions within 7–10 days of your new plan’s start date. Once your plan starts, you can also track your order in the mobile app by going to the “Orders” tab.
