2-factor authentication for Humana Pharmacy
2-factor authentication (2FA) is a simple process that requires you to verify your identity when signing in to a website or mobile app.
2FA is live on MyHumana and will start soon for HumanaPharmacy.com.
What to expect with 2-factor authentication
We’ll ask you to complete 2FA in the browser and on the device that you’ll use to sign in to your Humana Pharmacy account.
By doing this, we’ll be able to verify your identity and confirm that you’ll use this browser and device each time. This extra step helps us keep your personal information safe and secure. Once completed, your authentication is valid for 4 months or 125 days—unless you use a new browser or device to sign in.
Note: Once you've completed 2FA on any Humana website or mobile app, you won't need to do it again unless you sign in from a new browser, device or its been 4 months since you completed 2FA.
How to complete 2-factor authentication
When it’s time for you to complete 2-factor authentication, follow these 4 easy steps:
- Sign in to HumanaPharmacy.com using your MyHumana username and password. You’ll see a new page that prompts you to add 2-factor authentication to your account.
- Tell us how you want to receive your confirmation code. You can do this by selecting the text message or email box that matches your preference.
- Select the continue button to receive your 1-time confirmation code.
- Enter the 1-time confirmation code we’ll send to you quickly because it expires after 5 minutes.
After completing the steps above, 2-factor authentication will be complete. You’ll have to use the same browser and device to sign in to your account or we’ll ask you to complete 2-factor authentication again. As a reminder, you’ll need to follow these steps every 125 days.
